I'm not sure what the official name for it is but this weekend I will be swapping my open d35 to the trussed LSD Disc 8.25 I built. When I got the 8.25 the line coming from the vehicle hardline to the block on the rear was cut so I cannot reuse that. Is the D35 one the same? Can I just unbolt it from the rear in the Jeep now and bolt it onto the 8.25 once its installed?

unbolt it from your current diff, and if it doesn't match up to the replacement diff just mock up a bracket so that it does. Normally they share the threaded port for the vent, but as long as it is secured and follows the rear in movement you will be fine
