Well I didn't have much brake pressure when I first got the jeep. Its a 1990, so I went to bleed the breaks and couldnt get the nut around the valve loose. I said screw it and put the tire back on and then had no brakes. Ive heard the 90's had some break problems so im curious if theres anything else you guys think may be wrong?

Do a good inspection looking for leaks in lines. Seeing that most don't have 4 jack stands, do one axle at time, for repairs. Some PB Blaster or such, and a bit of heat might be needed.

Cruiser im not sure what dreaded abs means sorry. And It was the front. We got them off and bought new valves on both fronts. Finished bleeding them and still didn't make a difference. Planning on inspecting the rear tomorrow. And yes it does have quite a bit of rust.

If you somehow let the master cyl run dry, then you have to bleed that first. Then you move on to wheel cyl/caliper. As they say on here, some "Noggin Pokin" looking for any leaks in the hard lines, wheel cyls, portioning valve, calis, even around master cyl.

Only "valve" that I know of would be the Proportioning/ brake bias valve. (front/back)
Someone help this caveman out with proper spelling/terminoligy for the "bias valve"

I just assumed he was referring to the bleeder screw. (Also assumed he didn't know anything about brakes). There's been no brake issues on the '90 that I'm aware of.

haha nope don't know a damn thing about brakes. And yes bleeder screw. Either way replaced it and got the front brakes bleed and it didn't do the job.

What we have here is Failure to comunicate
"Didn't do the job"
What the smurf is this supposed to mean?
Really need to explain the problem a little clearer/more detail.
What is doing, or not doing?
