Brake line question

Yeah I bought two lines when I went the other day, the copper was a lot easier to work with but the length I bought was about 2.5 inches too short. It was a lot easier to work with than the steel, there was a couple dollars more difference in the cost.

I was very disapionetd to discover the "copper" that was used in a zillion motor-home, camp trailer, and mobile home supply cables is some cheap **** alloy. (someone made some $ there).
I had run a beefy section from my mom's batteries to her solar panels on her roof. After she died I found the "Copper" crumbling to little pieces. She likely went a long time with "sub-power", due to those folx making bank selling that "copper" cable. 
Or maybe I got the only crappy piece.
I doubt they quit their shenanigans. Anyway I like the idea...., but we need to watch "them".
