bouncing tach

Default bouncing tach

the last few days my speedo has started jumping around, when i am at 100kmh the speedo is bouncing from 100-180 any common issues?

Taking a guess here, but have you checked your speedo cable? maybe its getting stuck somewhere in the cable

i am gonna be going under the jeep thursday, but apparently my starting system wants attention first though

I don't have a cable its an electric speedo, but i did find the wires touching the exhaust.

are they bare metal? you might have found your problem

it was the connector for the speed sensor, the PO broke the clip for the sensor and never properly secured it. So I zip tied it in place and it works now, also re routed the wires. Thanks all for your help!
