.035 and replace plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Do this before chasing anything else.

ok so last night my truck started bogging really bad.. like i went to pull away from a drive way and it like idle rolled with me giving it gass... i floored it and nothing happened... i was on my way to a buddies garage and got like a block away and the truck totally died and wouldnt start...

i went and got new plugs cap rotor and wires but the wires they gave me were the wrong ones as was the rotor... im going back today and getting the right ones...

i dont know what it could be because the cap and plugs didnt seem to make a difference...

could it be my grounds and power wires being too small??? what else should i chase after to get my bugs fixed??

Hey there..cuz of your situation and your bogging I thought you might want to try this. Try backing off those nuts holding the exhaust pipe you just put on. Give it a good exhaust leak to rule out the cat or something being clogged up. Shouldn't take you 5 minutes since you just put them on, and your lift. Then you can get back to listening to these folx who know what they are talking about!

As cruiser said gap is .035. Don't pay 50$ for a k&n stock style filter. They actually filter worse then a stock paper filter and you won't have any performance gain. Not worth the money at all. As for bogging can you smell a strong gas odor? Sounds like too much gas to me. If it'll start again run it around your block until it bogs out then pull your plugs and see if they're wet and smell like gas. Also try pulling a plug and grounding it to the block while someone cranks the engine so you can see what kind of spark you have. Actually pull the plug first haha I'm not organizing thoughts yet this morning.
