It's easy if you don't plan on using your A/C . I put a switch in the dash to turn the A/C compressor on or off hooked a line to the pump to a automatic shut off switch 125psi you can set it were you want it to stop. ran a air hose to a 4 gallon tank. it works great I can even run air tools on it. right now I got the tank in my trunk I gotta find a better spot for it.

You forgot to mention that you HAVE to have an in line oiler. Without one, you will burn up your compressor in short order. The OEM A/C compressors used the coolant as a lubricant, so there has to be an oiler put on the inlet side of the compressor. HTH!!

Im thinking #2 Co2 tank for my OBA set-up, for as much as I would use it this would work good for me. If I were wheeling every weekend on trails I had to air down on I would run a engine driven compressor.

Yes I did forget to mention that. I do run oil thru mine on a daily basis shell 30w it keeps it running smoothly.

FWIW, an in line oiler would simplify your set up, and they are cheap. If you ever forgot, or ran your OBA system too long between oilings...UH OH!!! Just a thought...

Here is my set up. I wanted to retain the AC and have good OBA so I mounted a compressor beside the AC. Lots of guys run a dry crankcase and then spuirt oil down the air intake. But I will be using mine for air lockers and wanted continuous use, so I rigged up some ARB solenoids and oil trap to return the oil the the crankcase automatically.
