Default Blinker/turn signal steady on issue. FIXED

Fixed: I'm speshul and put the blinker fuse in the wrong spot.

My current issue is the blinkers: the ride side blinkers both work and blink, the left stay one when the blinker is switched on. I have replaced all blinker and side marker bulbs, only one bulb was burnt out and one blinker socket needed cleaning. I replaced the blinker fuse and am to the point where I think the blinker switch on the steering column might be bad.

Are there known ground points for me to check, clean and remount?

The only thing the blinker switch does is create a circuit, it doesn't actually make the blinkers... blink. That's the responsibility of the flasher relay. It's a round looking thing in your fuse box. You can try swapping it out with the emergency flasher relay. This fuse box is from an '89 but it should help you find the flasher relay.

Yes, pre-96 Cherokees used a GM sourced column and multi-switch. The fuse blocks are also completely different.
