BFG AT KO
Anyone on here running these, and if so what are your thoughts. I only got 30k out of my aggressive Firestones. Looking at these as they have more of a contact patch than my current mud tires. I need more than 30K out of my next ones.

Discount Tire's Pathfinder AT is another knock-off of the classic BFG AT. Pathfinders are made by Kelly-Springfield, which is owned by Goodyear.

I have BFG all terrains they are good tires. they do last almost twice as long as the firestones you said you have depending on how aggressive you drive. They are all terrain, so they don't do as good in mud as mud terrain obviously but they are very good tires in general. they grip well on the road and do pretty well offroad as well. i had no problem going through a foot and a half of snow. they are probobly the best all-terrain out there. the only drawback is they do fling rocks a lot! but other than that, they are very good tires. If your gonna do a lot of offroading i would get a mud terrain though. hope this helps!

That is my issue. Bought the aggressive Firestones, and I don't off-road as much as I thought. I put 30k on it this year driving back and forth to work. I'm looking for a really good AT. Snow is an issue up here. For the type of off highway use I do in my Jeep, I think the BFG's would work well. I've got the mudders on my diesel if I feel really adventurous.

I have 33x12.50 bfg at's on my Jeep, and 265/70/17 bfg at's on my F-150, both of them do AWESOME in anything from ice to as deep of snow as I can go through.
On Ice I just air down and take it easy.
If you are considering buying them, do it, they are an AWESOME tire. Just make sure you rotate them often.

yeah. wider footprint on LIGHT VEHICLE
what did you think would happen? an xj with 12.50's will float on snow and not dig down. it's not the tire's fault...it's the owner's for not being smart enough to put the right stuff on his vehicle.

I have 32" BFG AT's on my Jeep now, they are ok. I had them on my last 4x4, an Explorer, and I thought they were ok. They last a long time and give decent traction in a lot of weather conditions. I will say that I just bought a set of the Hankook Dynapro MT's and they look awesome. Heard good things about them and can wait to try them out
