Best weight?
tOTALLY agreewith the purolator filter and I have used fram for yrs. just bought 2000xj doing test pruraltor filter by 102k miles am using vavoline maxlife 10x30 wt. this oil is a blend of conf. and syn. the engine seems to like it so why not if you change oil every 3k does it really matter which oil u use but use p-filters

SO lemme throw this out there. I'm about an oil change from 200,000 miles. I just slapped an oil filer relocation kit that puts 2 PH8A's up in my bumper.
For the high mileage I am really thinking I need a high ZINC thicker oil and a quality inexpensive filter. I have 2 of them so I'm getting alot out of a filter.
I wanna get the rotella 15-40 for the zinc and I don't think I can get all these highspeed filters you guys are talking about. All they sell at the orielly's or autozone is K and N and mobil oil filters, maybe motorcraft and fram for sure.
I might be highjacking but me thinks this is place to ask.
