I had issues with PureOne filters in two of my cars (one 2.2L 4cyl and the other was a Ford 4.6L V8). They would starve the engine of oil on the initial start up after and oil change and caused the oil pressure to skyrocket during its entire use. Not worth the $$$ IMHO. I know I could have primed the oil filter, but really, how can you do that without dumping oil all over place on most modern engines?
Mopar filters are highly rated as well and napa gold (wix). Personally I'd worry about making sure the oil is circulating properly than removing every 0.1micron particle from my oil.

You have no facts, no tests, no proof. Im sure everyone will side with you, I mean come on, opinions always out weight facts, tests and hard proof.......lmao

Na actually I was laughing pretty hard when replying to those posts.
And about the zinc, I agree with that if the engine oil has a low zinc content. The 4.0's flat tappet cams really enjoy the zinc.

i use Valvoline 10w40, but when i move to Washington state then i will go back to 10w30. i use pure 1 oil filter as well, like it better then mobile one
wow. that is a lot of oil talk... I just run the advance brand 10w 40 and add a bottle of lucas. I do however, rut the Purolator filter. I change bout every 3-3.5. If I had a vette, I might buy fancy oil, but I just buy the SALE brand. haha

Yes, I know that. Toyota filters made in the US are made by purolator also. In both cases they are made to the specs put forth by the company they are making them for. Mopar filters not even close to the same construction as PureOne filters.
