Best replacement for OEM clutch
Hey guys, to start off I got a 95 sport with a manual tranny. It's about that time to replace the clutch on my jeep. Curious to get some opinions on different aftermarket clutches or maybe just getting a new factory clutch. I mainly drive on the street but occasionally go offroading as well.
Thanks

Well my buddy runs a centerforce stage 2 setup and I love it..its slightly stiffer but it grabs like no ones business. His pedal feel is great and that thing takes heat without issue.
My jeep had a oem clutch when I bought it and it was alright..I needed it to grab more though..needed more bite. When it went out I replcaed it with a Luk clutch kit and its the same feel. Honestly pedal feels softer to me which is ok but it also doesn't bite enough..I like a slightly stuff pedal, like slightly stiffer than oem but also tons of bite!
My advice is get a centerforce or a luk gold clutch! I have a centerforce stage 2 clutch disk thats getting ready to go in..Keeping the luk pressure plate but gonna run a more aggressive disk. I need more bite since I wheel and race my jeep around..
This stocker doesn't take to heat well, and wheeling and racing around heats it up lol.

None. His clutch is dead silent but sure feels great. Its the route I'll be taking. I'm replacing my clutch disk and using the oem pressure plate since its still brand new.
If I had to replace the whole clutch, I'd buy the Luk gold or the centerforce stage 2.
