woah 10mpg on 31's? something else is wrong with your jeep or you calculated your mileage wrong. check for vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, or get it inspected. then seafoam the engine. a cold air intake alone aint doin chit

Unless u actually relocate the air intake from inside the engine compartment to the outside, u still won't have a cold air intake.

You definitely have other problems if you only get 10 mpg on 31's. When was you last tune up done?

So true.
So many think just because you put in a cold are intake it's getting cold are not true. It's like djb383. You need cold air to have a true cold air intake.

This is true. But I do have a K&N. But the only reason I bought one was I paid only $10 for it. It had a fairly new filter and it was in great condition. You can really find good deals on Craigslist.

If you put some shield to block most of the heat that is mainly pushed by the belts blowing the hot air around and too the intake then a coned intake filter does actually get colder air while moving. Besides throttle response I don't believe I noticed any mpg gains with mine compared to stock. I'm running 31s and get about 17mpg and ordered new injectors the other day hoping to get to 19 or even 20 mpgs!

Injectors don't gain better mileage unless your previous ones weren't clean. As for mileage, I'm on the same boat as you. Let me know if you solve it

Will do! Since I have what I believe are the original injectors from 24 years ago and I've only put some injector cleaner in my ride I'm sure they will still help something

Give them a good cleaning and save your money, unless you want better throttle response then I would recommend new injectors (703s or 784s).

Well since I've already bought them from a vender here for cheap only $65 shipped I think I won't kill myself if it doesn't make a huge impact. They are 710s, I don't slam on the gas so throttle response isn't a big concern for me. I just want to have a good long lasting somewhat economic jeep
