I am one of those that has had great luck with optima's. I love them since they are gel cell can be mounted sideways and don't corrode the battery terminals.

I just built up a mount for two red tops under the hood of my xj.

However...

It seems that the Odyssey or the DieHard Platinum is the way to go. Make sure it is the Platinum P-1 though

you can search but here is a link

Also you might want to look into an alternator and electrical upgrade,

Without a properly sized alternator to charge the mega sized battery, your going to be replacing the alternator fairly often also. The largest stock offering should be OK, but it is something to think about.

Red tops are made to start the car and nothing more.
Yellow tops are made to start the car and run accessorize.
Blue tops are made for boats.

:P

Also, they have expiration dates. I know, for a fact, if they sit on a shelf for more than a year at autozone, they sell them for 50% off or better... but they will never tell you that cause all the employees want them

Actually I'm in need of a new bat myself and I'm leaning towards the Sears P1--for 199.00.
