Default best bang for the buck

looking for a few more horse thinking a header and exhaust but 800 is kinda steep. what is the best things to make these trucks perform. it's a 97 stocker. gears,computer tuner,head work where do i start.

big three... tuner, cold air intake, exhaust. bu then again you drive a jeep...if you want fast...sell and get a sports car. but you could also re gear to 4.56 and that would help a TON!!

Cold air, header and exhaust is where you gonna wanna start. Those should give you around 20 hp total... if your lucky. Stroker kit will give you the best gains.

I have a full exhaust from dynomax and it sounds good and it felt like i had more power but who knows... your driving a jeep so its gonna be slow as **** no matter what.

this ^ its a jeep. buy something else if you want good MPG's and horsepower.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does it mean to regear to 4.56's? Is this the rear diff ratio or something in the tranny?

its changing the gears in both the front and rear axles.

not looking for a race jeep but a lil more go would be nice. ill look into the systems mentioned. as for gears im looking to go to 33s so i was thinking 456 or 488
