Belt Squeal
I’m having lots of issues with my serpentine belt. 95 Jeep Cherokee. Started off with the squealing, trying to get that figured out. Now I’ve shredded three belts.First thing is looks like my AC compressor pulley is a quarter-inch towards the front of the vehicle more so than any of the other pulleys. Has anyone ever heard of this? the other biggest problem is, the power steering pump pulley. I think because I’ve wrenched on it hundreds of times I’ve got it out all out of whack.

Shredding is a heck of a lot worse than squealing.
First - the A/C should be in line with the other pulleys - but make sure that you're looking at it correctly since the engine is tilted "nose-up". I don't know what would cause it to move...
Secondly, without a belt on, spin each of the pulleys by hand. They should spin freely, also check for burrs, etc that may be cutting the belt. Your harmonic balancer may be separating - so double check that.
Once you're sure all the pulleys are moving correctly and smoothly - try a Continental Elite ("gatorback") belt - I swear by them.
What do you think is wrong with the PS pulley? I can take pictures of my 95 if you want.
