Why did my 1999 xj beep at me? Tonight I started it and 4 times within the first mile a beep from under the guages to the right of the steering column. No warning lights and the quages all looked normal.

Maybe the light that's supposed to come on when it beeps, is burnt out
Idk, really can't think of a reason why this would happen
