I replaced my battery and checked the battery and still my battery is not charging. I had the guy at napa charge it back up and i put it back in and then drove for a while and while i was driving the power just shut off!!!!:sad : what do i check now?

 

alternator and all wires associated with

 

your alternator keeps your battery charged!!!

 

Oh and i checked all the ground wires and the ecu and the terminals ans the wires leaving the alternator wiring is fine

 

OH and i replaced the alternator

only other thing i can think of ur battery is bad, how old is the battery?

 

Oh yeah, maybe terminals are bad, also. That sneaks up on you, and they look fine even though they aren't

alternator fuse in the power distribution center?

 

Where is that at? what does the fuse look like? what is the number in the fuse?

can't remember what number it is, but it is a large fuse, not like under the dash.

it was on my buddies 95 xj that blew, i'll look under the hood of my 92 and see if it is the same, or if i can find out what fuse it is.
i'll take a pic if it's the same.
