Radi, i found quite a few charts like that one confirming the 6 gauge cable i bought is in fact 6 gauge, so unless i missed something those 6 gauge lugs shouldve been stamped 4 gauge as they fit perfectly on 4 gauge cable. I crimped an 8 gauge lug onto the 6 gauge cable to test and the fit was absolute perfection, good and tight passing the tug test with flying colors. The plan was to use a punch in the drill press but decided to get one of those hydraulic 10 ton crimpers instead, model YQK-70.

I don't think you missed anything, they were probably mis-marked. I still use a hammer style crimper. Gets the job done but those hydraulics are nice.
