Cragar 15x8 Wheels

Rough Country 4.5" Lift with new leaf packs.....

So Far ive taken of the tint to get it ready for new tint........ and started debading it....i like the clean look.... Cant wait to start my lift this weekend and get my tires tuesday. BTW im going with BFG A/T 33X12.50/15. Im gonna need to do alot of trimming i know but it should look cool.
Obviously the fender flares are faded. What type of paint would work best to get it back to new looking?

As to the paint for the flairs. My buddy used some of the Krylon stuff made for plastic and they look nice. Mine are still stock and painted body color when the Heep was painted before I got it.

The best possible paint to use on those would be found at an autobody & paint supply store. Just go to the one closest to you and look at the spray can's. There should be one that is called a flexible bumper paint. It comes in several colors and is around $8 a can. But it is by far the best. And make sure you ask the guys at the store what to use to prep it. I used some stuff that you spread on and it is like a sandy paste. Then you use hot water and a red scuffing pad and act like you are sanding the whole area. Then rinse dry and paint. Let me know if you need some better info, i've got lots on body work.
alright on the picture for the kit, shackles were pictured and in the instructions they are used.... but mine came with none are they a necisary part of the kit, and they left them out? or are they extra?

Shackles are only required for the add a leaf application...Which is the pic shown on the site..When you upgrade to full leaf packs then the add a leaf and shackles are not used...

That information is for the add a leaf application..For new leaf packs for the rear you simply remove the shocks then the old leaf packs, then install new leaf packs then install the shocks. After that move on to the rear brake line installation... They really should have 2 sections for the rear leaf install 1 for AAL and 1 for new leaf packs..or at least a notation of it..
