Ball joints or struts?

You have shocks at all 4 corners. There isn't really one thing that makes noise in a suspension so guessing with no recording is almost impossible. but if its over bumps I would check
the shocks/bushings
Sway bar links
coil insulators
control arm bushings
ball joints
track bar bushing/joint
If its making noise it should be loose or showing signs of rubbing/impact.

I get a similar knocking im pretty sure its my ball joints and likely your issue too unless your shocks are toast. Easiest way is to jack the front up and check for play in the wheel moving it up and down. If it doesnt move then its likely shocks or bushings. Good luck!

Shocks are pretty old. I'm ordering a rc 3 inch add a leaf lift kit soon so the shocks will get done. But it sounds bad off road and over speed bumps. I'll jack it up and check for play.
