Default ball joints

On my 91 I need to know what the name is of the 3 ball joints that are on the bars that run across side to side that control the steering. I don't have a clue what they are called. And will I need the joint press or are those much easier than my upper and lower ball joints were?

It sounds like you're talking about the tie rod ends.

You don't replace the like ball joints. All the places unscrews from each other and will just be held into the knuckles by a nut. You will need a pickle fork or a tie rod end remover to get them out of the knuckles.

A pitman arm remover also works.
