Do I need the ball joint press to change them.

Yes. You can rent them at advanced.

Yeah for $120 but I don't have that right now. I was hoping I could use the separator in reverse. I was told I could possibly do that. but I thought I would find out on the forum if it's possible.

Yes I know but when you don't have the money you can't put the money down for it to rent it.

I thought about that but I wasn't sure if I had to have the press or not. But I do have the separator.

Well got it done and YES you do need a ball joint press. Just so happened a friend had one.

Yeah you tube and get the ball joint separater and the press. Fairly easy just take your time.

You tube shows application with 4wd but after remove the the drive axle it's the same. For 2wd take off the rotor and brake caliper and your ready for the ball joints.
