BAD BAD BAD drive home after mudding
Two nights ago a couple of buddies and I went mudding about 30 min. away from where i live. Everything went pretty well until we left, and I got on the highway. As I started to accelerate up the ramp my Jeep started vibrating up front violently. I looked out the window and could see my left front tire wobbling. I then realized that it only did this when I got to 25 mph. I'm not sure if I just need to have my tires rebalanced. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! F.Y.I this is my daily driver and I am still in high school.
Check to make sure you dont have mud caked inside you wheel. I have seen this happen before and it will create an "unbalanced" wheel and cause a bad vibation. I am not sure how thick the mud was that you were in but if it was pretty sticky this could very well be possible.
Yes, the mud was really thick that I was in. I havent really been able to look at it much. I got home at 1 a.m. that night, and then I had a football game last night. I'm gonna go give it a good bath right now.
