I have heard a bad or faulty NSS can cause this.

My 90's didn't work aether.
On the same fuse is your trailer lights if you have a towing package, and the power for the transmissions comfort power switch.
In my case the trailer light pig tail was shorting together.
The transmission was real happy after that there is a amber light in the switch is it on?

First I would check for power with a volt meter. If your getting pos. voltage, then it's the grounds. If not work your way back.

I read that write up just now and it seems like it turned out well. My reverse lights don't always kick on right away, but they do work. Do you think that I may have to clean/repair the switch? Or like they say, if it ain't broken, don't fix it?
