Default axle wrap

I have come to find out I have axle wrap. What would be the best way to solve this problem with the less amount of money. I'm on a McDonald budget. Will driving like this damage any thing?

I just read about alot about it. and apparently you're talking about axle wrap meaning the axle literally is starting to twist where the leaf perches and everything are.. it makes all of the angles off U joints can go bad alot. It's not horrible to drive all the time besides the u joints i just mentioned it's a problem with weak or sagging springs..

a quote from a Diesel mechanic site. (they would know alot about what causes the problem)

Axle wrap is when the axle actually rotates forward (or backward) esentially "wrapping" itself in the springs. You get this under load conditions, ie. sled pulling or HEAVY towing. Lift blocks increase the axle wrap effect

you could try building a traction bar.

connects the top and bottom of the axle to a crossmember or frame part so that the axle cannot twist under heavy use. I wouldn't worry about axle wrap for daily driving, it will only occure under extreme RPM/ extreme traction situations.

if your running blocks, I'd bet money they are the cause. if so remove the blocks and use longer shackles instead.

Nah Those will just go bad fast.. and often. but it'll mess up the suspension leaf springs could twist etc. It's just like the guy said that made his own torsion bar. It happens under heavy load not normal driving. and the lift blocks make it wayyyyy easier to make the whole process start..
