I now know more about axle joints .. can swap them easy now
just did my 3rd
store sold me some moog joints with exterior clips in package
I used old c-clips and installed them easy
I was going to do the drivers side today, just to match them up. I returned the 2nd greasable I bought, since I wasnt too fond of the one I installed .. dont think that little grease needle port will do much .. besides fail
anyways .. turns out I installed the previous one .. attaching c-clips to the bushing retainer slot .. uhhh .. not to sturdy .. they wernt made for interior clips
so got heavy duty moog w/ right clips on it .. re-did right side .. took an hour or so
the returned 1: the moog part # says their for front axle too, dont match mine .. as least store refunded me that $ on the wrong 1's .. watch what you buy
I also rented the press tool, Im 50/50 on that, .. definatly makes it easier to free up the joint .. but seemed the hammer method was quicker when loosened .. then again .. if I had a garage, table & a vise, woulda been easier .. getting some practice in the street .. trail practice I guess
