Hello, I'm replacing the track bar and got my 10.9 M10 1.5 70mm bolt which fits perfectly inside the new track bar sleeve but I have play in the holes on the axle side. Through my research it seems that at least several people have fixed this by welding a washer on (at least one?) side.
The problem I'm having is that the M10 washers don't fit nearly as tight as the track bar sleeve. What should I do about that? Will the 1-2mm or so of play in the washer that I was planning on having welded on be fine? Or should I get a M8 washer and drill it just enough so that it will fit snug on the bolt?
Basically, I'm trying to have no play whatsoever for the axle side track bar bolt but can't find a washer that will completely limit travel of the bolt. Any ideas?
