Default Axle pinion / T-case slip yoke questions

Hello guys and gals i have 99 xj limited with a 6.5 rough country long arm kit. I recently broke all four ears off both my pinion yoke and my slip yoke, crazy i know. But my problem is finding the right replacements. i have a dana 35 locked and a np 242, i found the yoke for my axle at 4 wheel parts i believe. But i cant find a lip yoke for a 242 i find slip yoke eliminators that work both for the np231 and np242. So does this mean i can use a np 231 slip yoke for my 242? so one please point me in the right direction id like to get it back ont road since winters almost over. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Austin

Get a SYE for a 242? Not sure what else to say. 6" lift on a locked d35 and no SYE sounds sketchy.

x2. Just get the eliminator. And check your axle pitch plates while you're at it.

The driveshafts are the same for NP231 and NP242, and although the yoke is a separate line item there are not any different part numbers for it either.

Didn't check or ask anyone before doing his lift did he about anything, now that the problems start and he needs to dump the D35 rear and get a Chy 8.25 and a new driveshaft and first off the NEW SYE installed in the transfer Case.

Wonder how many other problems are there also

I Have a ford 9 full width with 5.36s and chromo shafts that will go under the rear eventually as well as a 72 ford hp 44 to match. I knew exactly what i was doing when i bought my lift my intentions are still the same. Full widths, 37s, ls1 turbo 350 with an adapter for a 205. As of two weeks from now it will be my summer daily driver till can can get a tow rig. As i stated i only wanna order the right part but could only find it for the 231. No reason to spend money on a sye when its gonna be out within a year anyways. this is the first problem ive had since its been lifted for over a year now wheeling almost every weekend.

Thanks ehall your reply was the only helpful one, I will order the yoke for a 231 see if it will work.

still wouldn't hurt to check pitch plates. May want to find out why it happened.
