Default Axle bolts

Doing a hi d30 swap wanna replace all the lower control arm bolts and the upper control arm bolts can I replace them with 9/16 and 1/2 does anyone know the lengths by chance had to cut a lot of them out

So this is an instance of when having parts catalogs helps.
Now this is out of my '00 parts catalog. Since an '00 has a LP I don't know if the bolts are the same.


Sometimes it tells you the specs for the bolts. Not always but most times.

I just get the metric tho. Grade 10.9.

If you really want to go to SAE bring the bushings along and make sure the SAE bolts aren't too sloppy.

I agree on staying with metric. IIRC the M10 and M14 seem accurate.

If you go to SAE, I'd go a step farther and drill out the center bushing to fit a slightly larger bolt snugly.
