Default Axel Swaps or keep what I've got?

I just say that I think I post too much..thats another issue for another thread.

I have a 91 5spd 2 door XJ. Stock 3.07 Dana30/35 axels. I would like to(since I spend the $$$ on it) retain my Posi-lok but I hate the 3.07 gears I have. I know that my rear axel needs a pinion seal and the front needs u-joints and some other odds and ends. My question is this: should I keep my axels and fix them up or source a Chrysler 8.25 for the rear with 3.55/3.73 gears and a different disco Dana 30 for the front with gears that match the rear?

you should run over to CAP on midlo tnpk and see if they have any older xjs with a 44 rear and 30 front. or a 2.5 with an 8.25/30 combo. they came with factory 4.10s. i think the ones with the d44's came with 3.73. but don't quote me on that. they had a tow pckage from the fact. on them. i've run across a few of them over there from time to time. you can pull the complete axle over there for around 85 bucks each.

That cheap ey? I've bought a bunch of parts from them and they seem to be a bit pricey IMO. I need to get a job and make some $$$ before I can do that though
