I DON't know what to run in the AX15.
I DO know what to put in the NP231. Use Dexron Trans Fluid. It can be Dexron II, or III or IV etc, as long as you use Dexron. Drain the old (pull the lower hex head plug), fill in the new till it runs out the fill hole (upper plug). I have a long thin tube that goes on a litre container, it makes the fill easier, have used a hose fastened to a cap also in the past. Perhaps google for tech manual on the AX trans. Good luck.

Alright so I found after about 15 minutes of searching that GL-3 Is discontinued and You cant find it anywhere except over seas. So my options are GL4/5 and MT-90, Aparently MT-90 is the best thing that you can run in the AX series trans, or so ive read. But I cant seem to find anything else that will work except for possibly royal purple. Ive also read that you can run Engine oil in your trans as well?

I can tell you that Royal Purple has been phenomenal in my SRT4 trans and my Prelude's tranny. I also have had great success with it in my Power Wagon and SRT8's transmission. If it can go in the Jeep's, I will be happy as hell.
Call Royal Purple and see what they say. Someone usually answers the phone there on the first ring.
