Default aw4 shift issue

In reverse and going into 1st it has a long pause before the gear grabs unless i rev the engine to about 1500. I think it is the shift solenoids can anyone tell me which contacts i can check at the tps to confirm before i go buy new solenoids.

Sounds like low line pressure at idle. might want to try changing the fluid and filter.

It will have to be changed one way or another but back to the original question. To change the solenoids i have to go in through the tranny pan so i will be changing the filter fluid and gasket. Do you know what contacts i can check for the solenoids at the tps

no but the wires for the solonoids would be at the trans ecu. im pretty positive that they have nothing to do with reverse.
