Angry AW4 Experts needed!

Here's one I haven't seen on here.

I got back to the house today and noticed a strange noise coming from the transmission. It sounds kinda like two metal plates rubbing together but every now and again it chirps. It's really weird. If I rev the cherokee it gets louder. It drives fine shifts fine. But it sounds terrible! I might also describe it as metal against rubber, like a belt is slipping... any ideas????
