Aux fan issues. Ideas?
I've searched & can't find anything that fits the issues I'm having, at least not of the pre95 models.
I've a 91 Limited 4x4. Shes started getting hot (not boiling over tho) when I drive around town or sit idle for more than a minute or 2. My aux fan doesn't seem to be turn on. I'm going to run wires from the battery to it to see if its a wiring issue or if the fan itself is bad, so heres my question -
If the fan is bad, should I just replace it & wire it as is or wire it to a toggle switch?
Any suggestions to keep my temp down?

I had the same problem, and I just went ahead and put a toggle switch on mine, that way when I'm wheeling or idling I can just turn it on and know that it's working
