Audio alarm...
I tried explaining this to my mechanic and got the "yea right" look, now not all the time but more often than not for the last three weeks when I turn my ignition off I get "three" sharp tones from the dash area. Sounds like one of the old cheap digital watch alarms. Three short, quick beeps and that is it; no check engine or other idiot lights on the dash. Has anyone else had this happen and what the heck is it...

I might have an easy fix. I had problems with my buzzers and just got fed up with them so i took the combo buzzer out. Its located under the dash on the fuse panel it looks like this(at least this is what a 1995 xj sport buzzer looks like). It might or might not fix the problem. Also be aware that that buzzer wont be there anymore so stuff like door ajar buzzing wont function anynmore
