We did a 3" BB on my son's 87 and pulled one of his front flex hoses apart on the trail while flexing it out. On the trail is not the place you want to be when this happens, TRUST ME!

 

its not the lift that always decides how long the brake hoses need to be. if you have a helluva lotta droop you will need longer brake hoses.

stock springs are plenty soft as well, no need to ditch those

 

I'm convinced that is why my son's brake hose broke. His stock springs were way softer than my lifted springs. His front wheel dropped in a deep hole and that was all she wrote. I made a pretty darn good "redneck" engineering temporary fix on it to get him home. I was pretty proud of that.

 

Relocate the hard lines lower and you shouldn't have a problem
