Default Argh! Help with idle

I know this has been covered multiple times, regarding the weird idles issues, jumping up to 1000+ sometimes and then dropping to normal, or rough idle or hesitation at take off from stops. I know its possible its a sensor of some kind. I do have my TPS adjusted correctly. I also cleaned out the throttle body and the Idle Stepper Motor, (IAC), a few weeks ago. I would just like a general opinion on what I should throw money at. I did a quick check on auto zone and if I replace all the sensors that deal w/ idle and emissions etc, it's roughly $400. I know this is some kinda phantom issue, but again, I'm just looking for your expert opinions on this. Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem when I first got my jeep, it drove me nuts until I figured it out. I would start by checking for a vacuum leak. There are lots of vacuum lines under the hood and a broken line can cause similar problems to what you described.

Cleaning the idle air control does not guarantee a return to function. It works sometimes, but if there is a true electrical or mechanical issue, the only thing that will resolve is replacement.

And definitely perform full testing on that throttle position sensor.
