Horrible! Horrible! Trust me, horrible! You don't want this garbage. I tried the same setup and they lit like crap. And even if thats not enough the ballasts overheated all the time and shut off randomly! So imagine yourself at a red light and boom! One or both headlights shut off. So trust me, stay away.

I have those. But not that set. I ordered just the beams and got the HID's from a supplier. My lights blind everyone. The ones without the projection lens is better. VERY BRIGHT! If they shut off. You can build a harness with a relay. I made my own and I have ZERO problems. Some systems will shut off thinking there is a voltage issue and shut down. You need to order or cut the wires and make a harness.

OK so I should look for a set that doesnt have the projection globe, as for the harness making care to post a how to thread on that? it would help me and others understand what it is that you did, better.
@EVILXJ, what brand/ site did you get those from? any more pics to show what kinda throw these things have?
also anyone do the round headlight conversion?

if you ever intend on taking your jeep off road, forget HIDs...the ballasts are VERY sensitive to water and vibrations.
And after driving a car with REAL HIDs ('03 Acura TL-S), i would never go above a 5000k color - they look way too blue, and you lose a ton of light output as you go up the scale. A HID system should set you back $300 minimum for a quality product that will last. Forget this ebay crap.
I converted mine to H4 bulbs with the eautoworks harness, and i guarantee they put out way more light than those POS headlights, not to mention it's FOCUSED light, not scattered all over the place and into oncoming driver's eyes.

If you are in Bergen county or really close, I can get u a set for under $200. I got HID's last year. When I found a local supplier. He has everything. Police officers come to him all the time.

I bought h4 conversion lenses off ebay for $26 shipped and a h4 hid kit for $38.
I've been using the xentec kits for around 4 years and just had my first ballast got out. Ill trade that for regular bulbs anyday. I have these kits in all my vehicles

if you plan on driving your jeep on the street DO NOT get open beam h4 headlights and stick HIDs in them. i am one of thos people that get blinded VERY easily at night, to the point where i loss my line and almost ran in to a pole.. BUT if your jeep will never see one street in its life, then you can put whatever lights you want in it
but if you are, spend the money and get a good set up. not this ebay
this will be the next setup ill run and more

this is a guide to retrofit HIDs in to are 7x6 headlights ( its a 240 but the same idea )

I have those. They are a focused beam so it does not blind on coming drivers. The ones without will give u more light on the road and there is no way to stop the light that blinds other drivers. I like them for that, but the other for more visible light on the ground.
