So my car was 1996xj limited done almost 200k km, after 6 month Because the lockdown and yesterday I decide go for a ride and when stopping at red light the car temp go pass the middle mark almost hit the highest mark so I had to pullover and shut this thing off at the fuel station suddenly smoke coming out of my hood, open up the bonnet and i see a steam coming from the tube that I picture any idea what happen with my car

Very hard to tell what I'm looking at. How about some more information or larger picture of the area? I'm assuming this is Right Hand Drive? It looks like a heater hose blew off, near as I can tell.

 

is that the tube that comes out of the water pump?

 

I wanna say that's a view from underneath...??? is that the oil pan and A/C compressor? I see some corrugated tubing as well....

 

Looks like it to me. Looks like a piece of hose that's still on it. I think the corrugated is an upper rad hose protector. Looks like a wet plug wire also.

Yeah, that's looking down on the front pass side valve cover. He blew his heater hose.

 

It's unanimous then. You blew the return heater hose going to the water pump.

 

Correct. I also have a wet plug wire in that same location. I really need a new pipe to the water pump. I should have learned by now.

To @Fathur :
Don't just replace that one water hose, replace all of them, upper and lower radiator and heater core feed and return. If one has got that bad that it's burst, the others aren't far behind.
