So I came across this in my daily stalking of Craigslist.


Pretty familiar with options for XJ's, both factory and aftermarket, but never seen this before.
I know guys have designed their own but thinking this is not DIY.
Anybody have any ideas as to who might have manufactured this?

 

I have never seen this before it looks like you can still keep your spare wheel? don't look home made

 

That is one of the things I noticed about it too. Being able to keep your spare.
Thinking drawers would be a better thing. Not having to move everything to get at the compartments but....
More just me being curious about this then anything else. LOL.

X2..... great way to keep tools out of sight and still have most of your storage space behind the back seat

 

Well the Jeep has already been sold, deleted by author, so maybe we will get lucky and somebody here bought it. LOL.

 

I've thought about building something like this with 2x4's and plywood. Except in the winter we haul five gallon jugs of water in the back and that just makes it 4" higher to lift.

As far as the spare, it would actually help. I can't get my spare bolted back in without a short piece of 4x4 to hold it up temporarily.
