Greetings....I may have already asked this question...but want to make sure I am on the right track. I just bought a '16 Cherokee Latitude (altitude 75th anniversary model)....I also purchased a smaller "stub" antenna to replace the longer version on the car. Question: Is this as simple as unscrewing the existing antenna, and screwing on the new one, or is there something else I should know? Thank you.

Well, from a similar thread you started a reply was to simply unscrew it and replace it, so I'm guessing that's how it's done.
Does the new one have regular threads, like any old type antenna? Have you tried to unscrew the old one?
Tip: if the existing one is difficult to take off (due to no place to grip), place a rag around it and try pliers or channel locks, as to avoid marring the surface.

Thank you for the quick response.....I ordered the antenna, so it hasn't arrived yet. When it does, I will check first with the dealer....since the car is only 3 weeks old.
