Cherokee vs Cherokee race

I have a 2000 4 door 4 wheel drive automatic with a rebuilt engine and aftermarket muffler. I caught a light with a 2 door 2 wheel drive 5 speed cherokee last night. He started to rev at me so I decided to see what he had.
That 5 speed launched hard off the line. I havent seen many vehicles jump that hard and keep traction. By 65 I had my front bumper at his rear tire.
I guess thats the way it should have turned out. Less weight and less power loss with the manual.

Totally thought this was going to be Cherokee (the jeep) vs Cherokee (the race), but this way makes a lot more sense.

My fun governor always sounds off when i do that!!
Can't seem to find the right fuse to shut it up...Most often it comes from around the passenger seat somewhere.
