Default Another stupid issuse!!!!

So, I went to get the XJ inspected, they failed me for the e-brake. I notice that there was no cable going to one side. Not that I use the damn thing, but. I ordered a new cable and come to find out. I need that stupid little lever that the cable attaches to in the drum.....Call the parts store, nothing. Where can I get one of these levers, for a reasonable price? I don't want to spend a ton, on an e-brake.

Thanks guys,
J

The parts store should have that available. Don't know why they would tell you otherwise. You should be able to get it at the junkyard.

sometimes you have to buy a rebuild kit for the drums to get that piece it comes with all new springs and depending on the kit you can get ones with all the pieces youl need

Tried that. The Hardware Kit doesn't come with those....I'm going to try the Dealer tomorrow.

Thanks again

If the dealer wants to much, then pm me. I have a 87 I have stripped for parts and still have the rear brakes intact. They might be a little rusty so I will pull the wheels and drums and check them tommorow evening.
