ok so my 99 has the 29spline 8.25 and i got a kid looking to buy the aussie locker i bought for a dana35 but i think his 94 may have the smaller 8.25......it's got a chrome cover on it so the cover don't look like either my 8.25 or my wrangler's 35 and the axle tubes on his are small like the 35 and the bottom of the housing is rounded off , my 8.25 has a big flat edge on the bottom....is the earlier 8.25 in the same housing or is it a whole different rear?

 

all the 8.25's look the same as far as the housing he prob has the d35 if there is no flange like yours then its the dana not the c8.25

 

ok that's what i wanted to hear now i know i can sell the thing and that's mo'
