didnt know there was such thing? didnt know spark plugs has resistors either? but would make sense for this problem i guess...

Even if your diff has fluid that doesn't mean its not going to howl or make a high pitch noise. My buddy's XJ does this same thing even though he has fluid in it. Most likely its a bad bearing in the rear end. It will get worse and eventually leave you stranded unless fixed.

Or it could be something else

That's what the R stands for in the plug type.

That noise sounds familiar so here's my .02. Pull the fuse on your stereo, if it goes away, you have a ground loop that is allowing electrical interference from your alternator. When you give it some gas, the speakers, which are low-voltage devices, are picking up the AC flux and making that strange hum at low rpm and whistle at high. This happens a lot with people who have amps or capacitors installed as part of their stereo system because the ground is usually strapped to a convenient point on the chassis, which your alternator is also directly grounded to. You can either redo your wiring to connect the ground to the stock electrical systems or get a ground loop isolator from Radio Shack, which just installs inline with your stereo plugs: http://www.radioshack.com/pwr/produc...-Isolator.html
