All new 1988 jeep cherokee electrical

i need to replace all the electrical ... well most of it and painless doesn't go to 1988 i need to know a decent priced company that can get me a new full fuse box and major component wiring harness. or hell a company that can redo ALL the electrical in my jeep .. my mom has had this vehicle since the year it came out...then she gave it to me the fuse block that is in it is melted due to a short caused by pwr steering fluid leak dripping on the fuse block... the radio is currently running off the hot for the lighter and i have no turn signals no rear backup lights no horn and also no windshield wipers i do not want to cut all the wires and splice them back together for any of the componenet i wat all new electical wireing for the whole vehicle ... i neeed to know if one company can do the entire replacement of the fuse block and the attached wires or if it will be a job unavailable to one company ... i live in Santee, California hopefilly it will be relatively close thanks for any help

sounds to me like your multifunction switch is bad...do you have brake lights?

you might have to get a boxfrom the jy and splice it into the wireing harness by matching the colors and the placement

yes i have hazards and breaklights

any auto electrical shop can help is the xj stick shift m y box is suffring the same thing just dont sound as bad as yours my clutch master leaked inside down the fire wall and got my brake light fuse and radio what i did was got son inline fuses and pulled the box and cut those wires to the bad fuse sockets and spliced the in line fuses in

well ... lol if your enver in santee hit me up ill let you do it for me too lol yea its a stick shift and i think it might have been the master cylinder that actually sounds more familiar for what leaked on my fuze box... maby the jeep dealer can replace it i know this is a very late model jeep but they just might be able to help ..

if i was near id def come over and watch you do it lol i wanted a harness to but aint really looked sinse this fixed it for me you might find a wiring harness for it at the dealer but bring the big wallet
