Default Which affordable brush guard is the best???

I know I'm opening up a can of worms with this question but...

Which affordable (under $300.00) frame mounted brush guard offers the best level of protection for my 1995 Jeep Cherokee Country???

PS. Do any commercial brush guards (affordable or not) feature a steel roller, useful in forcing the front end over an embankment, similar to the one featured of WWII M3 “halftracks”???

This is a little over your budget but its a bumper w/ the C4X4 Brush guard and D ring mounts I think its a great value

Based on the desciption it's a direct bolt on which leads me to think it doesn't bolt to the frame..

Nates bolts to the frame and it's going to be tough to find a good front bumper that bolts to the frame for $300 or less..

Based on their site it is a direct bolt on but for 84-96 models you will have to modify a bit to fit properly..Also you have to buy a separate frame tie in kit if you want the d-rings to actually be useful.. Would be an ok bumper for just normal stuff but you'd need some frame mount front hooks for recovery.

IMHO you want a good bumper for the money you have 3 choices..

jcroffroad.com
custom4x4fabrication.com

and nates which was already posted. Now that's my opinion only..
