Default advice on new leafs and tyres

howdy, great site here ive learned loads about my xj in just a week of browsing ! ive just fitted new stock leafs to my xj, now the rear is sitting inch / inch and half higher than the front, will new leafs sag a little after bedding in ??
also whats the largest tyres possible on a stock xj with no rubbing probs ?
may run spacers soon if that helps ?
cheers anthony

the new leafs will settle down after a little while. You could use a spacer up front to level it out for the time being.

I dont know whats the biggest size tire tho, someone will chime in with that

There are rigs running 31x10.5s on stock rigs, but IMO that would be pushing it a bit in terms of rubbing and room to flex. Kilbrethj is correct though that 30x9.5s will fit without issue.

245/75/15 is the biggest 30s with a 2 inch and 31s with a 4 inch lift Ive tried every combo. And if you want a cheap lift get stock F150 front coil springs and S10 rear leafs and that will give you a 4 inch lift

Damn wish id known that before i bought the stockers lol, does that lift work well then ? maybe something for the future, i only bought the jeep to get my firebird off the road and do some work, but ive always liked them and now ive fallen in love DOH ! two cars want my attention now haha. i need to cruise it for a bit, sort the bird out then swap them around, drive the bird and beast the truck :-)
now ive got the new springs on im assesing the ride quality, the front feels harsh and it really notices the smaller ripple bumps on the road, what do people run the stock tyre pressures at ? im at 30-32psi at the mo thinking of taking a little out ?
