Did this fix your issue? It definitely couldn't of hurt...lol. ive always been told with the poor characteristics of factory injectors its important that you maintain a bright blue spark from your plugs.

Took the 96 to the auto parts store they hooked it up on thier wizard box and the good news is that the code po340 came up cam shaft censor, bad news is that they don't carry that part or it doesnt come up in their computer and does not show anything for it. Does the cherokees have such an item if so is it called something else and where would it be located?

Also it is getting worse now I can't go over 30mph, it died on me 6 times but did re-start every time I put it in park and not in nuetral.

Dear Radi, I will make sure that I get a cat on the 96,I just went by what I was told I do apologize, and thank you for pointing me in the right direction for the po340 problem.
