admin i hope this is the right spot..
i just copied this from my intro if im still in the wrong spot im sorry
hey hows it going....long time offroader (dirtbike quads)and just general outdoorsmen. Decided me and the wife needed a trailer to haul the quads around so that ment A 4x4 FINALY!!
searched craigslist for 2 weeks and came across a 1989 xj....great condition 178,000 miles nothing mechanicly wrong with it. bought it for 650 dollars....i havent seen a jeep of this color before(ill post pics tom at work)
i have a few questions that are out of the ordinary...
1 can i put a 6 inch lift in the rear and 3.5 up front....i would obv get a sye and shaft (i had a friend who did it lik this and i likd the look)
2 most importantly would this even be logical^^^im on the east coast so i just got mud and water no real rocks to overcome lik moab or anything
3 have any of you seen(OR TRIED) that HHO convertor it changes water into hydrogen gas and goes in ur intake giving u 2 to 3 times the gas mileage!!!

You are in the right spot thanks for putting it here.
Answers to questions:
1) Yes as long as both F/R have the same sized tires. For gearing when in 4WD.
2) Logical is up to your preferences.
3) We had a article about that we were following on another website and concluded it was a waste of money ( most of us thought so anyway)
4) Doesn't seem to be a question but where is home when not being told where to be by the USAF?

1. Sure but when not hauling a trailer it sure would look funny..
2. IMO no..I would do the same lift front and rear and then get air bags installed in the rear to compensate for the added rear weight when hauling the trailer.
3. I have seen it, read about it and still think it has some time to go before it's completely viable. IMHO not worth the hassle as of now.
4. Eh never done the military gig so can't say..Although at times I wish I was in Colorado and such where there are better trails..River runs just aren't that much fun.
Oh and welcome to the site.
